Messy Messy Messy Faiz...

Some babies will be hungrier than others, but some will be keener than others to try whatever is put infront of them. My 6 months baby Faiz, he watches us eat with great intensity and lean forward to try to grab food and everything that draws his eyes. More, everything nearby end up in his mouth.

I started gave him solid food at the age of 4 months and he enjoyed it. At the age of 6 months, I was thinking to move a step further introduce him finger foods. Well frankly, I don't really like those sell in market since it was too stiff and my babies didn't like it at all! Learnt from the experienced :)

I went to the Giant Supermarket yesterday with Faaz to do a minute grocery. Faaz demands for Rocky Stick but the supermarket seems out of stock! Then ,I saw this Glico Caplico Stick and offered to Faaz. Well, kids never say no when it comes to food especially chocolate flava hihihi...

At home, my Faiz saw his brother with the stick and craving for it. He chased Faaz all around the house with his kereta kebal hihihi... Despite with the cute scene, I decided to give Faiz one stick. He was so happy and went to the kitchen showed the yummy stick to my helper (maybe he wanted to show his victory :)). And, in seconds he already comot!!! Messy messy messy Faiz :)

Happy face

Comot already

More comot!

Belated Father's Day...

Oh my God! I'm way too late for the Father's Day Report! This is why I'm not significant as a journalist/writer/publicist/broadcaster! BUT, I still need to engrave this because this is the first Father's Day that my not a baby anymore Furqan shows his first skill in writing, YIPPIE!

On that morning 20th June 2010, I texted my ayah wishing him Father's Day and how lucky I am to have him as my father. YES, he's the best father in the whole world and I bet everyone feel the same way too about their father aite ;)

That afternoon, we had lunch celebration at TGIF Wangsa Maju. The food was luscious! I can't thank enough for the most wonderful service from the TGIF Wangsa Maju pips for making the day extra superb...

TGIF Wangsa Maju : Happy Happy Happy

Later in the evening, movie time with the kids (Furqan and Faaz. Don't worry my lil Faiz... your time is just around the corner :)). Well, since we took the kids along so we decided to watch Toy Story 3. I think at this point, the kids were more excited hihihi... Surprisingly, they behaved well even my 1 year old boy. I'm so proud of you darlings! We went straight home since everybody was pretty tired and Furqan has school the next day. However, it was a blast Father's Day celebration ever for everybody especially my hubby! He said this is the moment he has been waiting for; fatherhood...

Monday after school, Furqan asked me to take something from his school bag. I opened up and there... A nice yellow handmade shirt from cardboard with his writing saying "Happy Father's Day. I love Papa. Furqhan." Erk! Furqhan? Hihihi... It must be his teacher spelled for him. Anyway, that's not what I want to argue here... That handmade card reminds me that my Furqan is a big boy now! At his age (4y going on 5y), he already knows how to value people who love and care for him. Thank you Allah s.w.t for Your blessing... And, it's not too late to wish all fathers out there a very HAPPY FATHER's DAY!

Furqan's Diversion...

Lately, my first boy shows interests in photography. He would snap anything at any place that catches his eyes... At first, I thought the result would be shaky but by surprised he did well! Here are some photos taken by Furqan. What do you think? ;)

His favourite pink Teddy

He managed to get Faaz in action (which I have always fail)
